OXFORD GLOBAL LAUNCHING INTERNET DEALING SYSTEM AT PARIS FOREX 2000 SHOW
NEW YORK, 2 MAY - Oxford Global Network, Ltd. announced today that it will be launching its FX3K advanced Forex Internet dealing platform on 18 May at the Forex 2000 show in Paris, France. The Java-based trade matching and execution system offers a fully featured thin client trading environment for Forex brokerage clients, and a comprehensive integrated trading and processing solution for brokerage operations. The technology enables the simple installation of an advanced turnkey online trading environment for Forex brokers anywhere in the world.
"FX3K is a clear advance in Internet-based Forex trading systems," said Howard Meltzer, spokesperson for OGN. "Its scalable technology base is a generation ahead of most other online trading systems. We expect that FX3K will lead Oxford towards an even broader and ambitious deployment of integrated online trading solutions for the Forex markets."
The FX3K online trading environment includes real-time dealing quotes, charting, technical analysis tools and news all in one comprehensive product. FX3K fully integrates the client, dealer, back office and system administrator functions. Product features include high-speed execution of client orders and the ability to monitor in real-time margin availability, net exposure and P&L on all open positions. In addition to automated features, FX3K provides integrated "chat" capabilities that allow trader-dealer conversations. FX3K has been used in beta form since late 1999 at PFX, Inc., a Chicago, Illinois based spot FX dealing operation. PFX is currently marketing the product to their client base and are setting up client accounts for trading. OGN is targeting FX3K for use by second tier and introducing brokers, with an eye towards both the expanding presence of institutional and individual online traders in the retail Forex marketplace and the increasing liquidity found in secondary Forex markets.
Since its founding, OGN has been in the forefront of sophisticated online trading environment development in the United States and Europe. A New York-based company, OGN also maintains offices in Geneva, Switzerland, and St. Petersburg, Russia.
The Forex 2000 show is being held in Paris May 18-20 as part of the 41st Annual Congress of ACI-The Financial Markets Association. Information on the show is available on the Internet at http://www.aciforex.com/.
